These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Atelier application (the “App”), provided by Lumber, LLC (“Lumber,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).
By installing or using Atelier, you (“Merchant,” “you,” or “your”) agree to be bound by these Terms.

Atelier enables Shopify merchants to create and manage private, invite-only shopping experiences, including sample sales, VIP access events, early access launches, and other restricted storefronts.
The App operates as a Shopify Sales Channel and is intended for use solely by merchants. End customers do not install or directly access the App.
You must have an active Shopify store and the authority to bind the merchant entity in order to install and use the App.
All applicable fees, including usage-based fees, are disclosed prior to billing and calculated based on completed orders generated through Atelier.
Atelier is offered on the following subscription plans:
-Base: $9/month + 0.99% processing fee on successful orders generated through Atelier
-Advanced: $49/month + 0.79% processing fee on successful orders generated through Atelier
-Enterprise: $249/month + 0.69% processing fee on successful orders generated through Atelier
Custom pricing plans may be offered upon request.
New merchants may be eligible for a 7-day free trial, after which billing will begin automatically unless the App is uninstalled.
All fees are billed through the Shopify Billing API and appear on your Shopify invoice.
Refunds are offered on a case-by-case basis at Lumber’s discretion.
You agree to:
-Use the App in compliance with all applicable laws and Shopify’s Terms of Service
-Ensure that any private or restricted sales comply with consumer protection, pricing, and disclosure laws
-Maintain the confidentiality of access credentials, passwords, and whitelists you configure
-Not misuse the App for fraudulent, abusive, or deceptive practices
The App may access the following Shopify data as required to provide its functionality:
-Products
-Orders
-Customers
Product and customer data is accessed in real time via Shopify’s GraphQL API and is not stored persistently outside Shopify.
Atelier stores order monetary values and related operational metadata in its own database for billing, analytics, and reporting purposes. Third-party services are used solely for operational, analytics, and merchant communication purposes and not for resale of merchant or customer data.
We use the following third-party services:
-Google Analytics – for site traffic and ecommerce event tracking
-Klaviyo – for merchant-facing email communications
These services process data in accordance with their own privacy policies.
You may not:
-Scrape, crawl, or reverse-engineer the App or its infrastructure
-Circumvent access controls or restrictions
-Use the App to host unlawful, deceptive, or abusive sales
-Interfere with or degrade the App’s performance or security
You may uninstall the App at any time through your Shopify admin.
Upon uninstallation, all data stored by Atelier is deleted immediately.
We may suspend or terminate access to the App if:
-You violate these Terms
-You engage in abusive or fraudulent behavior
-Payment fails or is not received
The App is provided “as is” and “as available.
We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation and make no uptime commitments.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Lumber shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages.
Lumber’s total liability arising out of or relating to the App shall not exceed the fees paid by you for the App in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.\
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Lumber from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the App, your private sales, or your violation of these Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
